Dr John White – Non Executive Chairman
John has been a director of a number of publicly listed Australian companies, was formerly chairman of the Federal Government’s Uranium Industry Council, was a member of the Federal Government’s Defence Procurement Board, was a member of the DefenceSA Advisory Board, co-reviewed the AWD Program (WinterWhite Report), co-founded the Nuclear Fuel Leasing Group, and is Chair of the Gippsland Resources Infrastructure Development (GRID) Group, the Direct Injection Carbon Engine Network (DICEnet) and the Birdon Group.

 
Peter Marshall – Non Executive Board Member
Peter retired from the Royal Australian Navy as Rear Admiral in 2013. He’s an experienced senior executive and engineer having successfully led large and diverse, multi-disciplinary workforces in Australia in complex materiel-based outsourced service delivery businesses and major CAPEX projects. His abilities are founded on an early career as a professional mechanical engineer and have expanded into strategic planning and policy formulation, extensive Government and industry liaison, balancing technical advice with programmatic considerations, media management and corporate governance.

 
Terri Benson – Non Executive Board Member
Terri has held a range of both executive and non-executive director roles in the government utility and private infrastructure sectors. Terri is currently Managing Director of Victorian government owned water services company South East Water. Terri has also held senior executive roles as Chief Executive Officer of SEQ Water and as Managing Director of Essential Energy.  As a graduate of UWS and Harvard Business School, Terri has enjoyed a career built on finance, corporate services and strategy.

 
Ian Ramsay – Non Executive Board Member
Ian is currently President of NAMJet LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Birdon America based in the United States. Prior to this appointment Ian held senior managements roles within Cummins Inc. In 2001 Ian was appointed Managing Director, Cummins UK and held this position through until 2007. Ian was responsible for the Distributor operations for Cummins in the UK and Ireland with 500 employees across 14 branch locations . Ian was also a Board member of Cummins Greater Europe responsible for business in excess of 500m Euros.

 
Jamie Bruce – CEO
Jamie became Managing Director and major shareholder of Birdon in 2008 and President of Birdon America in 2011. With the steady growth of the Birdon group of companies, Jamie took on the broader role of CEO in 2014. Jamie’s drive, leadership and results are founded on first hand knowledge of the business and dedication to customer service.  Since completing his engineering apprenticeship with Cummins in 1995, Jamie has been involved at all levels of the business including complex dredging projects, in-service support contracts, and later, as Group Operations Manager heading up the Dredging and Marine Divisions.

 
Tammy Bugler – CFO
Tammy is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor Commerce/Law (Hons) from Bond University. Prior to returning to the family business as Finance Director in 2008 and now CFO, Tammy worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years as a Director in their Private Client Services Division.

 
Steve Elliott – Manager Market Development
Steve is a Chartered Engineer and management professional. After 17 years as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy, Steve moved into management consulting with KPMG, specialising in program and project management, engineering management, and operations improvement. Steve also has specific skills in asset management, bid management and continuous improvement.

 
Brett Davis – Manager Port Macquarie
Having been with Birdon for 19 years, Brett has an extensive imitrex order online knowledge of the business and has undertaken a number of roles during that time. Brett now heads up the Port Macquarie operation providing contract management, project management and client liaison for major projects.  Prior to joining Birdon, Brett served with the RAN for 11 years, including extensive sea time.

 
Steven Bruce – Manager Engineering
Steven Bruce has over 30 years experience in the investigation, design, construction and management of civil engineering projects.  Prior to Birdon, Steven worked for SKM as an engineering consultant. Over the past 15 years, Steven has held a number of management roles within Birdon, including Dredging Manager and most recently, as Engineering Manager.

 
Brenton Abbott – Manager Dredging
Brenton has been with Birdon’s Dredging division involved in project management roles since 2002. Building on his previous experience with  dredging and marine contracting projects Australia-wide and overseas, Brenton has accumulated over 30 years of hands on and management experience within the maritime industry and now heads up Birdon’s dredging division and ferry operations.

 
Trent Raines – Manager Disposals
Trent provides Birdon’s key Defence and Industrial clients with disposal and secure destruction services for metals and non-metals. Trent has a thorough knowledge of the metal recycling and disposals industry with 20 year’s experience in the sector and an extensive understanding of metal composition through his trade background and depth of experience since.

 
Meg Teasdell – Manager Environment
Meg has 20 year’s experience as an environmental engineer, working with manufacturing, construction and government industries to achieve their environmental goals, and works closely with Birdon’s Q&S Manager to set and meet quality and safety targets.

 
Steve Prohm – Quality and Safety Manager
Steve combines over 25 years’ system and administrative experience in Defence and manufacturing industries.  With over 12 years at Birdon, Steve has implemented Birdon’s Quality and Safety Management Systems and provides advice and support to the Environmental Manager.

 
Mark Bermingham – Purchasing Manager
Mark has been with Birdon since 2007 and is experienced in procurement processes operating within quality systems, both here at Birdon, and in former roles with private manufacturing and distribution companies.
