Sarah Yuen is a project and production management professional with extensive experience in Defence and commercial ship repair, ship build programs and ISO 55001 Asset Management. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Master of Business Technology (MBT) and is certified through the Internal Project Management Association (IPMA).

Sarah leads one of three operational divisions of Birdon, as General Manager of Maritime and is responsible for Birdon’s Commercial Ship Building, Ship Repair, Sea Freight and Ferry Operations portfolios across Australia. Birdon’s Port Macquarie and Dampier Shipyards form part of the Maritime division under Sarah’s leadership. 

Since beginning her career as a Marine Engineer in the Royal Australian Navy, Sarah has managed multiple Defence programs, including the Air Warfare Destroyer Ship Building Program and In-Service Support Programs for the Huon Class Minehunter and Armidale Class Patrol Boats.
